Over a year ago

We fell in love with 1214 Hillcrest September 2008 and put an offer in November 2008 and over a year ago 1214 Hillcrest was ours!
Since moving to Normal IL, March 2005, we have longed for trees, a big back yard and to be in walking distance to town, sort of what life was like in Michigan, our home state.
For over a year we planned and planned for a remodel and addition and with 7 different plans in place over a years span we have decided to do it in stages. One huge reason being we still have not sold our other home. 2009 was a year of ups and downs with 1214 Hillcrest. We were about to sell it a dozen times but then always going back to visit, praying and knowing selling it was not the right thing to do. So with that Jan 2010 was the start of our house remodel. Lets start out with some before pictures, the home we have tons of visions, dreams and to finally feel a sense of HOME here in Normal IL.
