Day 8 - 30 Day Challenge

Today I found myself in TJ MAXX 

I had ran into Top Line to get a Pedicure 

and they couldn't get me in for 30 minutes

so I walked on over the TJs

I found my self holding onto a 

beach cover up walking around the store

and suddenly thought

WHAT????

I can't buy this

I suddenly forgot about my 30 day challenge

What in the World - How nuts is that, to forget so easily 

I was in a shopping trance!

On a side note

 I did find a great dress in my closet on Monday

I had only worn it once last May.

It was one of those dresses I walked into Target

and my eyes were directly drawn to it

The only one on the rack!  It was meant to be!

So I brought it back to life!

I love this dress!  

What a great Target find 

and then it was tucked away in my closet for an entire year

THIS IS WHY 

I took the challenge so I could find clothing 

in my closet!

Day 6 - 30 Day Challenge

Look what the mailman brought 

to our door this morning

Packages from Boden & Mini Boden 

Do not worry

I did NOT break my challenge 

I had ordered these things way before

and they were on back order.

What a great fun surprise 

I had actually forgot about!

Day 4

The old me, the 4 day ago me

would of ran out and bought a new 

dress for last night's dinner dance

but the new 30 day
ME

took a look in my closet and found 

these two Anthropologie dresses with tags on

I went with the second one!!!
Its my NEW Favorite Dress!!

And yes those are my boys watching TV in the background!
I asked them to take a picture of me but they
were just too busy!

Day 3 - farmers market dress

Day 3

I found one J Crew red Dress

and its perfect for my sunny Saturday

a great dress that must of been great 

since I have 2 in my closet

1 red, 1 navy

A great breezy dress for the

Farmers Market this morning

then off to the pool.

And suddenly 4 years later after I bought this dress

who would of ever thought my phone case

would match!  Funny!

30 DAY CHALLENGE at the little brick house - No clothes shopping

Hello my name is Amy and I'm a SHOPAHOLIC
But it's always been like this, Jon knew this about me when
we met and married
So I'm taking his challenge!

Day 2 (really day 1)

 but I'm counting yesterday as my day one even though I took the challenge at

 5:00 pm
(I could of shopped last night but I did not)
 to not buy any new clothes for 30 days.

Last night and this morning I felt a little lost
I have a daily or every other day routine of looking at the
Anthropologie sale and J Crew sale websites

I have spent the morning shopping in my closet
and have found lots of items with tags on or items
I have only worn once or twice
 it so it's sorta like real shopping, RIGHT?

I don't wear shorts in the summer. 

I would say I am a skirt and dress kinda summer girl

I wore shorts last summer twice because I 

started to golf.  

I own 2 pairs of shorts, maybe 3

I remember buying some last summer for golfing

but can't seem to find them here at the little brick house.
So long story short

I'm wearing shorts today from 2001 

10 YEARS OLD!

Wearing them one last time then off they go in the get rid of pile.

Or maybe I will keep them for those 4 times I play golf this summer.
