This house is one of my very favorite inspirations... http://www.jasdesignbuild.com/ a firm out of Seattle designed this remodel. I could move right in! I love all the character, color, salvaged items, the ceilings, moldings, wainscoting. You can check the rest of the house under "Three Blind Mice" whole house remodel. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

For the white classic kitchen
Kitchen and Dining Pendents from Rejuvenation. I am hoping the green stripes in the light will match our green and white checkered Kitchen floor :)

New Fridge!
I fell in love with this refrigerator many years ago.... but its just not practical RIGHT? You can see everything, which is OK with me since we (well Jon) keeps a very clean fridge and we head to the store every few days but then there is no door storage for condiments, dressings, butter etc. But then again its just sooooo cute! I have always been a girl that takes cute over practical :)
Over the past year I have showed Jon this fridge and he just gives me a smile and laughs
BUT THEN SUDDENLY the other day Jon had to head into the Kitchen store http://www.hamptonsshowrooms.com/ and he's totally not an impulse buyer but yet he can't resist a SALE FLOOR MODEL. And and then SUDDENLY he called me and said he had to get it!

Bathroom has started
The bathroom construction has started. Tub & sink removed the floor and toilet will be next. The closet on the right will house a washer and dryer. The washer and dryer is now in the basement, after living for 5 years with it upstairs I have been so on top of laundry. Having it back in the basement would be another story.

Bathroom Vanity
I fell in love with these 2 bathroom vanities many years ago. They were featured in my favorite magazine cottage living. Which is no longer these days. These two photos came from one of my very very favorite websites http://www.jasdesignbuild.com/. I am having my custom cabinetry man- AMISH TOUCH do something very similar to these tables and then will have a white top mounted sink on top.

Upstairs bath before pictures
Visions: Tearing out bath, sink, floor etc. The closet behind Peyton will house a stackable washer and dryer, having a new vanity built. White subway tile around shower and maybe 1/2 way up the walls? This will be our only bathroom for a while so it will be very challenging. This bath does have another closet area so that will help much with storage.
Before Pictures of the dining and family room
Visions:
Taking the wall down between the kitchen and dining and making all one room. Placing a built in bench in the dining area against the wall with the double windows. Our dining room table will be placed up against this wall. Ripping out the carpet and refinishing the old hard wood floors. Our visions for the living room walls is wainscoting 3/4 of the way up the wall and painting all the trim white.
